I was blessed to be raised by Christian parents who taught me to love God and trust in Jesus for salvation from a young age. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep these teachings close to my heart and for quite a few years I wandered from the life of faith. But, praise God, he worked through various circumstances and through my reading of his word to bring me back to himself during my early years of college. I made a fresh profession of faith when I was 20 years old, and I have been striving to walk with God through faith in Jesus Christ ever since. That’s not to say that it’s always been a smooth ride, but God’s grace has been sufficient for me, and I trust it always will be.
These days, I am an ordained elder at Cincinnati Primitive Baptist Church (CPBC). I serve the church alongside Senior Pastor Lasserre Bradley, Jr., Associate Pastor Justin Huffman, and Elder Tim Harris. I am always thankful for opportunities to preach God’s word, both at my home church and elsewhere. If you’d like to hear a bit of my preaching, it is available here on sermonaudio.com. If you’d like to hear sermons from the other leaders at CPBC, they can be found here on sermonaudio.com, or here at BaptistBibleHour.org.
